One September 6, 2020, we went from Utschs Marina in Cape May, New Jersey to Hoffman’s Marina in Brielle, New Jersey located in Manasquan Inlet.

Today was very familiar.

We were leaving a marina that we had stayed at during our gold loop (Utsch’s) and we were traveling to the Manasquan Inlet to a marina (Hoffman’s) we had docked at before.

The only nerve-racking part was getting out on the Atlantic again.

This was where we lost one of our engines on the first time through.

You know.

The third trip out where we almost quit the loop after barely getting started.

The second time around was a much different experience.

Our colossal mistake on this trip was underestimating the amount of traffic that would be out there on Labor Day weekend.

When will we ever learn?

Not today.
