We left Half Moon Bay Marina in Croton on Hudson on September 8, 2020.
Originally, we had planned to stay here two nights but we decided to spend the extra time in Kingston, New York.
So away we went.
Now on our first time through, we also did this same route which you can read about.
Or if you would rather hear us talk about it, you can always watch here.
Cruising on the Hudson River
Even traveling through this area the first time through, as nervous as I was and as inexperienced as we both were, I do remember that the view from the Hudson River is really incredible.
I would have to say that this is one of my favorite parts of the Great Loop.
It is so beautiful.
It’s a combination of sights.
The water.
The trees.
The bridges.
The trains.
AND West Point.
Oh yeah.
So cool.

On to Kingston, New York
As we continue down the Hudson, we were reminded of just what a treat it is to cruise this incredible part of the country.
And how fantastic to be able to dock in Kingston.
There are such great restaurants within walking distance so be sure and stop here.
You can hear all about our experience here.
Been Here? Done That?
Have you ever been to this part of the country?
