On September 9, 2020, we left Kingston, New York after a nice evening on the City Docks.

Our destination today on the Hudson River took us past seven lighthouses.

It truly was a beautiful ride.

We did not stay at Donovan’s Shady Harbor in New Baltimore, New York last time through here.

We went straight through to Albany, New York (read about it here) or click our picture to hear all about it.

Donovan’s Shady Harbor

Donovan’s Shady Harbor is a very popular stop for loopers.

In fact, during the proper looping season (late spring), they have a big party for loopers with music and everything!

So, make sure you plan for that when you are on your Great Loop.

Since we are traveling in the off season (early September), you’ll see a different perspective of this area.

You can hear all about it here.
